ADO Den Haag, the Dutch capital’s Eriedivise side, have revealed their 2016/17 kits.
Alles Door Oefenen translate into Everything Through Practice and they will be hoping to improve on last season’s 11th place finish with plenty of that. It’s been nearly half-a-century since they finished in the top three so anything inside the top half of the table will be viewed as success in a recent context.
ADO Den Haag 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the ADO Den Haag home kit designed by kit manufacturer Errea.
It’s a bold combination of yellow and green stripes. At the bottom of the shirt, the stripes are gradiented, with the green fading into the yellow.
The shirt collar is green with a yellow buttoned neckline. Inside the back of the neck, the club’s original year of formation, 1905, is commemorated, as is the club’s crest of a stork standing on a football.
At the base of the shirt in a green hem, is the slogan, “Haagse Bluf. Strud. Trots.” – “In the Hague, Swagger. Boast. Be Proud.”, celebrating the club’s roots.
ADO Den Haag 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the ADO Den Haag away kit for the 2016/17 season.
The shirt is a straightforward black and white striped affair. They are evenly spaced around the shirt’s front and back. When the stripes reach the shoulders, a series of angular thin stripes break the black.
The club’s home kit colours, yellow and green, are reflected in the collar. Inside the back of the shirt’s neck are the same slogans and motifs as the home kit.
The shorts are black with white bands.
It’s a straightforward pair of kits and one the club can stand tall and proud in.
