Adidas To Unveil Thrilling Messi-Inspired Samba Shoe.
Adidas are set to rock the football and fashion world once again as they prepare to release a Lionel Messi inspired Samba shoe in 2024. The iconic Samba shoe gained popularity in 2023, hitting the mainstream fashion world.
It has been rumoured that Adidas are now planning to release two “Messi inspired” Samba’s, both inspired by the home & away jersey of the Argentina national team.
Lionel Messi’s pivotal role in securing Argentina’s historic third FIFA World Cup trophy in 2022 against France has become the inspiration for these special editions. As Adidas is also the official manufacturer for the Argentina national team, creating Sambas in homage to the national colours was an obvious choice.
The first colorway features a striking combination of white and blue, echoing the team’s home jersey, while the second boasts a “cloud white” base with purple accents reminiscent of the away jersey. Both shoes will have Messi’s “M” logo on the tongue of the shoe in a neon green.
Adidas are set to release the shoes soon, with the pricing rumoured to be at around £100. This price range will appeal to both football fans and fashionistas, as Adidas continue to bridge the gap between sports and fashion closer together.
