Tottenham launched their 2017/18 away kit, the first produced under the new Nike contract technical supply contract.
With their new temporary home waiting, Spurs supporters will be giving everyone a rendition of Ossie’s Dream before every game. If their Wembley adventures last season are anything to go by, it won’t be a pleasant experience: one win (3 – 1 vs CSKA Moscow), one draw (2 – 2 vs Gent), and three defeats (1 – 2 vs Monaco, 0 – 1 vs Bayer Leverkusen, and 2 – 4 vs Chelsea).
Transfer that to the Premier League and it’s relegation form. That’s the stuff of dreams for most supporters of the other London clubs. Spurs meanwhile, will hope Arsenal’s decline is permanent…
Spurs 2017/18 Home Kit
This is the Tottenham 2017/18 home shirt:
Nike’s template works a lot better with the darker navy than light colours. While the contrasting colour of the sleeves is still visible, it’s subtler. The trim on this shirt is white, including the logo of sponsors, AIA, which caused consternation on the home shirt when it appeared in red.
The away shorts are the same as the home; navy blue with a white panel. It’s likely that we’ll see more of the third kit as a result. That is expected to be released later this month.
Meanwhile, the kit is completed with navy socks.
