Like most of the Premier League clubs, Manchester United find photos of their 2017-18 home shirt leaking onto the web. It’s something of a surprise to find that United haven’t already released the replica shirt. Maybe they are waiting for a big signing or two before the announcement.
Victor Lindeloff is the first signing for Jose Mourinho this summer. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves for LA Galaxy once he is fit again. It highlights Manchester United chronic shortage of strikers. While Manchester City chase Alexis Sanchez, United are keen on Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian prefers Chelsea if he is to leave Everton. Mourinho will have to console himself with Robert Lewandowski instead.
Manchester United 2017-18 Home Shirt
This is it, the Manchester United home shirt for next season:
Surprisingly, Adidas produced an outstanding design for United. Speaking as a fully paid-up member of the ‘Despising Manchester United’ club, it is very stylish. The button-necked collar works well with the unfussy body of the shirt.
Adidas’ Three Stripes runs across the shoulders in white but stop at the seam of the sleeve. Black and white bands form the shirt cuffs. Overall, this is going to be well-received on the Stretford End and around the globe.
