There’s no doubt Los Che have fallen on hard times. If there is any justice in the world, the Valencia 2017-18 home kit will see them rise once again.
Better known in British circles for the ill-fated Neville Brothers – not the fantastic New Orleans soul band but the former England internationals, Laurel and Hardy.
Languishing in mid-table is not something the faithful want. It’s better than the fate Deportivo La Coruña, whose spell of yo-yoing between the Primera and Segunda divisions seems to have come to an end.
Valencia 2017-18 Home Kit
This is the 2017-18 Valencia home kit:
I’m going to come right out and say it: this is by far and away the best kit of the summer so far. Two-tone, it’s beauty comes from the simplicity. There is a tie-in with the bat on the club’s badge, as well as the region’s flags.
The real reason for the legacy of the bat is lost in the mists of time but the club and Adidas has drawn wonderfully on it for inspiration.
Placing the iconic Three Stripes down each side of the shirt body is a master stroke. It keeps the white and black main design clean, and a striking contrast. Accompanying the sleeves, the round neck collar is black with a triangular patch front and centre.
Completing the kit are black shorts and white socks. White trim and the full colour badge, replete with the region’s famous red and yellow stripes.
