Widely trailed thanks in part to Juan Cuadrado’s leaked photo on social media, Juventus revealed their 2017-18 home kit earlier this week.
After finishing the domestic season on a high, the bianconeri did themselves proud in the first half of the Champions League final. Against the run of play, Cristiano Ronaldo gave Real Madrid the lead but a superb Mandzukic equaliser gave the game a fair reflection of proceedings.
But as Arsène Wenger will attest, being level at half-time wins you nothing. Zinedine Zidane tweaked his tactics at the interval and Real were rampant, deserving victory although the 4 – 1 scoreline flattered the Spanish giants.
Juventus 2017-18 Home Kit
This is the Juventus 2017-18 home kit:
The kit is essentially ‘traditionally’ Juventus. Black and white stripes, evenly spaced across the front, maintain their familiar colours. On the reverse though, Juve and Adidas threw the spanners into the works.
A thick black stripes, stretching between each shoulder, occupies the space where the Player Identification Details will sit. It’s an unusual feature and gives the kit a unique identity.
Adidas’ Three Stripes run down the side of the shirt, in black on the white background.
A two button Henley collar gives the shirt a look reminiscent of those worn by Keegan-era Newcastle United. Not that there is a problem with that; it was one of the Magpies classic kits.
Juventus complete the kit with white shorts and socks, both featuring black trim.
