Houston Dynamo released their MLS home (primary) kit for the 2017 season. Manufactured by Adidas, the shirt is as ever, orange.
It made a winning debut in the 3 – 1 win over New York City FC when David Villa became the first player to be punished by video replay. The former Spanish international was sent off for the faintest tap of a cheek seen since Joey Barton was poleaxed by Lincoln City’s brutality!
Houston Dynamo 2017 Home Kit
This is the Houston 2017 home shirt,
As you would expect from a club whose defining slogan is “Forever Orange”, it’s orange! ‘Space City Blue’ horizontal pinstripes travel cross the front while the back of the shirt is a clean design.
As well as the club slogan, the Texas flag sits proudly on the left front, above the hemline. The trim of the shirt comprises a crew neck orange collar, with a filled triangular panel at the front. That pattern is cropping up as a common MLS theme this year.
On the white cuffs, a blue band sits centrally whilst the inner neckline is also blue. The club crest celebrates the 2006 and 2007 MLS Cup wins with two stars sitting proudly above.
White shorts and orange socks complete the kit, with orange and white trim respectively.
