QPR End Dryworld Contract & Sign With Errea

QPR End Dryworld Contract & Sign With Errea

Queens Park Rangers, currently sitting 16th in the English Championship, has ended their kit partnership with Canadian sportswear manufacturer, Dryworld. The deal was signed less than a year ago and repeats the pattern with Nike, a contract with the R’s terminated ahead of plan as well.

QPR are moving to Errea, the Italian kit company. Starting from the 2017/18, Rangers designs will be 100% bespoke which will be interesting since their famed blue-and-white hoops are quite generic.

Dryworld lacked invention with their away kit design. Dismissed as boring, it was deemed too similar to the home kit as well.

The third kit wasn’t a problem though:

QPR announced the separation of ways last month. According to local media reports, it was provoked due to non-payment of contractual moneys and late delivery of merchandise from the manufacturer.

Dryworld still supply Watford in the Premier League. At present, there are no plans at present for the Hornets to make a similar move to a new supplier.

Errea currently provide Norwich City with their kits and brought out some interesting designs for this season:

The designs received a favourable reaction from Canaries supporters. A particular favourite is the third kit which nodded back to happier times in the 1990s.
