BLACKBURN ROVERS 2016/17 AWAY KIT
This is the away kit Blackburn Rovers will wear on their travels:
The shirt is a unique design for Umbro. Predominantly black, there is a faux sash on the left shoulder. Comprising the colours of the club’s home kit – royal blue and white – the sash ends above the logo of primary shirt sponsor, Dafabet.
It’s an otherwise clean design from Umbro for the shirt, with the remainder of the front and back in solid black.
As with other Umbro kits launched this summer, the co-ordinates of the home ground feature on the inner collar. In this case Ewood Park takes pride of place below the motif, “ROVERS FC”.
The shorts and socks are solid black with white trim.
It’s a stylish kit which might be considered a grower. A first glance at the sash-effect elicited a less than polite response but seeing it several times, it cuts a dash and it’s rarity on kits makes it unique. Whether it’s a crowd pleaser remains to be seen.
