VFL Bochum, fifth in last season’s 2.Bundesliga, have issued their 2016/17 football strips.
It is one of the world’s oldest sporting organisations, first founded in 1848 as a gymnastics club. Football was first introduced into a separate club in 1908 and the two merged in 1938 by the Nazi government of the time.
With a fifth place finish in 2.Bundesliga to build on, Bochum will be hoping to celebrate promotion to the top flight at the end of this coming season.
VFL BOCHUM 2016/17 HOME KIT
Once again, the club will wear blue as the primary colour in their home kit.
It’s a simple design from Nike, devoid of pattern and solid royal blue across the body. The V-neck collar features a thick white neckline whilst the shirt cuffs are solid white. There is a solid white panel linking the two, running across the upper back to give a seamless effect.
The kit comes with blue shorts and white socks.
VFL BOCHUM 2016/17 AWAY KIT
On their travels, VFL Bochum’s away kit is a red version of their home kit.
The shirt this time is a mid-red, with the only difference being the sponsor. Netto’s logo features in yellow across the mid-riff.
The shorts and socks for this kit will both be red.
VFL BOCHUM 2016/17 THIRD KIT
The third kit too relies on the same template as the home and away designs.
This time, the primary colour is white with the collar and trim blue.
Finishing this kit will be white shorts and socks.
If there is a more straightforward set of kits to be worn next season, we’ve yet to see them!
