Real Madrid 2016-17 Goalkeeper Kits Revealed

Following on from the spectacular kit launch yesterday, Real Madrid has released the kits the goalkeepers will wear during the 2016/17 season.

Keylor Navas number in the squad has been revealed on the away kit, taking the number 1 spot once again. Talk of David De Gea leaving Manchester United has quelled and with a transfer ban beginning after the end of the current window, Navas is set to hold onto the goalkeeper shirt for at least another eighteen months.

Real Madrid 2016/17 Home Goalkeeper Kit

The home kit for the goalkeepers next season will be light blue with a darker blue trim.

It’s a standard Adidas template, featuring their unique diamond pattern across the shoulders and along the seams at the top of the arm.

The shirt has a round neck collar with a solid splash at the front. On the reverse of the collar are the two bars, one in the lighter hue containing “REAL”, the darker has “MADRID” underneath.

The remaining trim is white, including Adidas’ trademark Three Stripes which run down either side of the shirt body.

The shorts and socks feature white trim.

The trim on the shirt is black, with Three Stripes down the side of the body and the distinctive diamond pattern once more on the shoulders. As with the home kit, the shirt has a round neck with a solid splash beneath.

Logos and club badges have been adapted to suit the colours of the shirt, all being black with yellow backgrounds. On the reverse, the picture shows the new font created for Adidas this season.

It’s a stylish look, with neither out-of-place beside the kits revealed yesterday.
