Sport Recife Reveal 2016/17 Away Kit

Sport Club do Recife – or the anglicised and shortened Sport Recife – from the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, haven’t made the best of starts to the Campeonato Brasiliero. Currently sitting in seventeenth place, they are in one of the four relegation spots and face a fight to retain their Serie A status. It’s a disappointing opening to the campaign following their 2015 finish in sixth place.

The black shirt, manufactured by Adidas, features a familiar design with its similarities to Germany’s kit worn during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Across the chest are three bright red tonal chevrons, starting with a dark shade on top and gradually lightening in the second and third stripes. The collar, a rounded v-neck, is black around the sides and back. At the collar-bone, a vivid red band begins and travels across the front of the neckline.

The sleeves finish with two similarly sized black and red bands forming a distinctive cuff. Down the side of the shirt are the Adidas Three Stripes in the same red as other collar and cuffs. They run from the armpit to the hem.

The back of the shirt is plain black.
