Swindon Town 2016/17 Home Shirt Released

Sky Bet League One side, Swindon Town, have released their home shirt for next season. 2015/16 ended disappointingly for The Robins with club finishing 16th compared to 4th the season before. With three managers in one campaign, the stuttering form shouldn’t have been a surprise but owner and chairman, Lee Power, will be hoping for better things under new coach, Luke Williams.

This is the home shirt which Swindon Town will wear during the 2016/17 season.

Based around the club’s traditional red colours, it is the second kit manufactured by Puma under their current deal.

It’s a complete change from last season’s design with the shirt split into two shades of red. The sleeves, shoulder and chest are a darker red. This houses the Puma logo on the right breast, in white, whilst the club crest in on the left.

The gently curved v-neck collar is in the lighter shade of red which forms the lower two-thirds of the front of the shirt and also the back.

From the collar, across both shoulders and sleeves, is a wide lighter red panel. This is encased in white piping either side. At the top of the sleeves is a white Puma logo.

Primary shirt sponsors, local company, Imagine Cruising, feature in the midriff for the third year running with their logo appearing in white.

It’s a great design which will look equally at home on the pitch and worn casually.

Do you agree? Are The Robins rockin’ with this design or is it destined to migrate from the shelves slowly? Let us know in the comments.
