One of the most important teams in the Eredivisie, Feyenoord Rotterdam, presented a new away kit for use throughout the 2015/16 season. This equipment combines royal blue and a bright hue of orange.
The shirt is designed using the Campeon 15jersey template, which Adidas implemented this year for many of the teams that wear their brand. The template features a rounded collar, the distinctive three stripes on the shoulders extending from the neck until just before the sleeves cuffs, and a thin band at the bottom of the jersey.
The base color of this Feyenoord away shirt is royal blue, with the details in orange: the collar, the cuffs, and the bottom band, and also a polka dot pattern around all of this. The sponsor in the middle and in the left sleeve, as well as the brand logo and the team numbers, are also coloured orange.
The kit completes with a short that reverses the colors, an orange base and details in royal blue, and socks in both combinations.
The Feyenoord fans received the release of this unusual away shirt in social media channels with opinions divided between those who hated it and those who loved it.
