Sporting Lisbon have dropped their brand new 2024/25 third kit. The Portuguese champions have paid tribute to club and footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo with their latest release.
Manufactured by Nike, the Sporting Lisbon 2024/25 third kit is primarily black with gold applications on the collar and sleeve cuffs on the jersey. The standout piece of the shirt is the large “7” graphic that runs through the front of the shirt, paying homage to Ronaldo, who has worn the number for the majority of his career.
Ronaldo spent his youth in the Sporting Academy, eventually moving up to the first team before transferring to Manchester United in 2003.
It was a successful 2023/24 season for Sporting, who won Liga Portugal under the management of Rúben Amorim. Fans of the Portuguese giants will be hopeful of another successful 2024/25 campaign. They currently sit top of Liga Portugal, winning all of their opening nine fixtures. Amorim has since moved to Premier League giants Manchester United following the sacking of Erik ten Hag.
In other news, Shamrock Rovers and Macron have debuted their brand new away shirt.
