Lille have launched their brand new special jersey. The Ligue 1 club’s latest jersey honours the 80th anniversary of their foundation.
Manufactured by American sporting giants New Balance, the Lille 80th anniversary kit is primarily white with red and grey applications on the collar, sleeve cuffs and lower sides of the strip. The club crest, New Balance logo and front of shirt sponsor have all been made white, adding a classy touch to the jersey itself. Each jersey will be an individually numbered collector’s shirt with the name of one of the 771 players who have worn the LOSC jersey in an official match since 1944 in the collar.
Lille finished 4th in Ligue 1 last season and have impressed so far in this season’s UEFA Champions League, beating both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
