Commuters are long used to being held up by the wrong sort of leaves on a track but rarely will the launch of a new football kit have interrupted their daily journey!
West Bromwich Albion announced the arrival of their 2016/17 home kit on Grand Central with the Spotlight Stage School dancers provided a flash mob to show off the Baggies new tops according to local reports. With Premier League rivals using more traditional launch shows, Albion deserve credit for their fresh approach.
The shirts worn by the dancers offer a glimpse ahead of Monday’s official launch. It’s the debut season for new sponsors UK-K8.com on Albion shirts which show subtle changes from the this season’s model.
A round collar with a white central stripe replaces the v-neck that led into a blue stripe during 2015/16 with a more subtle trim evident. Adidas’ three white stripes run from under the arm to the hem, contrasting against one of the shirts main blue stripes. The biggest change appears to be a plain white back, although more will be revealed at Monday’s launch.

Whatever the final design is, Albion’s use of the flash mob is sure to make it memorable!
