The A-League side have paid tribute to their inaugural season with their latest home strip.
Manufactured by Australian sports brand Legend, the Newcastle Jets 2024/25 home kit is primarily gold with navy and red applications throughout the strip.
The jersey pays tribute to the Jets 2005/06 home kit, which was used during the inaugural season of the A-League. The writing “20 years” is placed above the club badge, which pays tribute to the history of the Australian top division.
Despite being an inaugural A-League team, the Jets have only won the title once in 2008. In 2015, the club were forced into administration and made to re-brand and in recent years have struggled, often finishing in the bottom half of the table.
Fans will hope head coach Robert Stanton can turn the club’s fortunes around in the upcoming season.
In other news, Independiente have released their 2024/25 away shirt.
