In a crescendo of rock, fashion and football, an FC Barcelona x Spotify x Rolling Stones Limited-Edition kit recently took centre stage, drawing fans and collectors’ attention. In a recent exclusive online auction, the limited-edition Barcelona kit stole the spotlight, fetching an impressive £1000.
Boasting its exclusivity with only 1899 pieces ever crafted, this unique piece of memorabilia, accompanied by a Rolling Stones souvenir box, secures its individuality with a certificate of authenticity, while it displays its special number; 184 out of the limited run. Adding an extra layer of legitimacy, the buyer was treated to the original receipt from the Barcelona shop.
The limited-edition Rolling Stones Barcelona top is designed with the timeless “Blaugrana” design, by Nike, featuring the iconic signature look of red and blue stripes. What sets this apart from the original kit is the substitution of the club’s central sponsor, Spotify, with The Rolling Stones’ characteristic logo taking its place. Notably, this unique jersey made its on-field debut in Barcelona’s latest El Clásico match against Real Madrid.
The historic £300 million deal between Spotify and Barcelona that started from the 2022/23 season and extends until the 2026/27 season, has not only reshaped the financial landscape but also brought unique visuals to the club’s jerseys. More specifically, this marks the second occasion where Barcelona’s traditional kit has undergone a transformation with the replacement of the Spotify logo. The first instance featured the infamous OVO logo of the renowned rapper Drake, making its debut in a kit worn during a previous season’s October El Clásico.
