South Africa’s sleek and modern new 2024-2025 white fourth kit

Before the arrival of 2024 and the Ivory Coast’s hosting of the AFCON tournament in January, South Africa have released an extra bit of aesthetic fire power to their ranks. Manufacturing partners Le Coq Sportif have developed yet another stellar kit for Bafana Bafana and have taken a colourless approach – contrasting the vivid character of the once dubbed Rainbow Nation.

This sleek mainlyl-white design sees a subtle grey patterned base, with every logo or icon on the shirt cleared of colour.  The shirt was allegedly brought out with kit clashes in mind, and with this white-out approach, South Africa will certainly stand out amidst a plethora of African shirts that use a bright palette of yellows, reds, greens and blues.

That said, although this shirt holds that ability – being one of four, some may wonder if it’ll be needed. According to a vote powered by Football Kit Archive, people have deemed that the kit holds an average vote score of 3.3 out of 5 stars. Personally, we think it’s sleek and modern and almost dazzling. However, a fourth shirt could be deemed a bit excessive. Even if not needed, it’ll certainly get snapped up by ardent kit collectors from the country and around the world.

South Africa’s newest addition was brought about in December, with Footy Headlines reporting on the release back on the 14th. Its release was on the 20th of December, just in time for Christmas.
