Crystal Palace have released their fourth kit of the 2023/2024 season, and although at base value this may seem excessive, the newest kit doesn’t come without meaning.
This limited edition kit has been released in collaboration with the club’s charity Palace For Life Foundation, and the proceeds of sales will be donated as such. The Charity works alongside the community in South London, particularly working with young people and those seeking a better path to a healthier life. The kit is not dissimilar to the existing Crystal Palace home and away kits, seemingly combining the main aspects of the two kits.
As seen above, the 2023/2024 home (left) and away (right) are starkly different, however, the newly released kit has taken features from both. The standard royal blue takes the prize for the main colour, nevertheless, the eye is drawn to the white and red diagonal sash down the front of the shirt. The diagonal sash features on Palace’s away kit, however, Palace have also previously dabbled in similar designs with the likes of the 2021/2022 home kit (below left), as well as the 1978 retro kit (below right)
For any fans or potentially interested buyers, Crystal Palace will debut the new kit in their upcoming Fa Cup tie against Everton. A nice touch by Crystal Palace, and an alternative kit for any fans who wish to add to their collection.
