Around twenty minutes ago, we showed you Juventus’ latest away kit. It was full of natural character, cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, it consisted of a design worthy of their eighth consecutive title. Now we want to bring you another Italian, away, football kit. Parma Calcio are freshly promoted to Serie A an are looking to not only survive, but also compete. With one game having been played, Parma took a draw, so are already off the mark. Furthermore, to build up momentum, Roberto D’Aversa will be hoping for a win against SPAL.
We brought you Parma’s home kit yesterday. It was a simple design that was stylishly executed by Errea. Their away kit is eye-catching, bold, and bright. Let’s take a look!
The kit’s pattern consists of large yellow and blue horizontal stripes. Split between the top two stripes, the club’s crest, Errea’s logo, and the main sponsor all feature. The home kit is inspired by the left half of the club’s crest and the away kit – the right. This has proven very popular with the fans. Something very important going into the toughest level of Italian football.
Both the simple neckline and the sleeves are tapered with a darker blue. This adds a nice contrast to the bright colouring of the rest of the kit. Furthermore, additional depth is given to the kit with the addition of tiny grey circles. These fade in and out from the centre.
Finally, some note the similarity between Parma’s 2018/19 away kit and the strip worn by the club in the 1990s. During this time they competed in Serie A for the entire decade and well into the early 2000s. Errea are hoping that their kit can cement the club’s position. It is likely that Juventus will dominate the league this season. Saying that, plenty of Serie A clubs will be ready to meet that challenge. We just hope Parma can weather the upcoming storm.
