Puma continue to release their 2017 African Cup of Nations with Ghana the latest to adopt their template. It is the same as Cameroon and Ivory Coast although using different colour schemes.
Ghana will be looking to avenge their 9 – 8 penalty shootout defeat to Ivory Coast in the final of the 2015 African Cup of Nations. The qualifying this time was routine with 4 wins and 2 draws in their six group games, including a 7 – 1 win over Mauritius.
Ghana 2017 African Cup of Nations Kit
This is the home shirt Ghana will wear during the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
The base colour of the shirt is white, the traditional colour of the Black Stars. The nickname is referenced on the reverse of the shirt, with the upper shoulder area featuring a grey panel with black stars.
It gives the design a uniqueness unlikely to be replicated elsewhere.
Puma’s design trend of triangular pattern on the outer of the collar’s wing and cuffs is adopted by Ghana, this time in yellow. The trim is otherwise black with a retro 70s feel thanks to the collar and shoulder stripes.
The kit will be finished off with white shorts and white socks. Both will feature black and yellow trim.
