Boca Juniors 2023-2024 Commemorative Club World Cup Kit

Boca Juniors are one of the most historic and successful clubs in South America. Six time winners of the Copa Libertadores, the Argentine club have qualified and competed in the Club World Cup on several occasions, winning the tournament three times. In 1977, 2000 and 2003. To commemorate this achievement, Adidas have released an exclusive Boca Juniors’ Club World Cup Kit, as seen below.

The design of the kit is traditional, without any extravagant extra elements and or lavish sponsorship markings. The ever-present yellow and blue of Boca covers the kit, with a large yellow sash wrapped around the middle, to ensure the yellow and blue blend. The sash is central as opposed to diagonal, so as to not draw attention away from the main commemorative detail of the kit. The three golden stars, neatly fitted between the Adidas logo and club badge. Similar to Hollywood’s walk of fame, each star has its own meaning and significance, with each star referring to one of the three occasions Boca won the historic Club World Cup. Beneath the stars is a simple Japanese transcription, which translates to “Three Time World Champion”. The commemorative stars is a common theme in South America, for example, the Argentine national Kit uses stars to represent World Cup success.
