Luton Town FC Has Revealed Their 2018/19 Puma Third Kit
Like a Broken Record. We Want to Let You Know That Today We’re Looking at Luton Town FC’s 2018/19 Kits.
So far, as the weather has changed from damp and dreary to bright and sunny on this Tuesday morning, we at UK Soccer Shop have been looking at Luton Town’s latest kit releases. While Luton Town might not be the biggest and best club in the world, their designs so far have been excellent. Furthermore, exploring each of their kits makes a change from football boots and concept kits. We’ve seen concept kits from Plymouth Argyle, Sevilla and PSV Eindhoven. Furthermore, we’ve looked at boots from Nike, Numbro and New Balance. Now let’s turn our attention to Luton Town FC’s third kit. Firstly, who are they?
To give you a sense of who they are, we used the club’s Wikipedia page to explain:
‘Luton Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Luton, Bedfordshire, England, that competes in League One, the third tier of the English football league system.’ Luton FC was founded in 1885 and their nickname, ‘The Hatters’, comes from the town’s historical connection to the hat manufacturing trade. Currently sat in seventh place, Nathan Jones, together with the fans, will want to see Luton FC rise up the table. Their next match is tonight, against 4th place Stanley.
On to Luton Town’s 2018/19 third kit.
The kit colouring is navy blue. Furthermore, running up the centre of the chest is the same inverted striped pattern that we’ve seen on the excellent home and away designs. On top of this striped blank canvas sits the club crest, Puma’s logo and Luton Town’s main sponsor. While the away kit featured a built-up neckline, perhaps to reflect the club’s heritage, the third kit has a simple neckline.
