We Might Never Actually See Them, but Here’s Manchester City’s 2019/20 Concept Kits.
As European football is well under way, and the Nations League occasionally rearing its confusing head, teams and fans are both focused on the current season. Whether they’re a team like Chelsea, pushing for the title win, or Ipswich Town, hoping desperately to survive, few people are thinking about 2019/20. However, we at UK Soccer Shop are looking ahead. We want to see what people think next season’s kits will look like. Concept kits are a great way of predicting designs. Furthermore, this morning, we brought you Barcelona’s latest concept kit. Now, we want to bring you Manchester City’s 2019/20 concept kits.
Right now, the Sky Blues are in first place on goal difference. Hot on their tails are both Chelsea and Liverpool. It’s already shaping up to be a competitive season in the Premier League. While Pep Guardiola will be happy with his team’s performance, we’re more interested in their 2019/20 kits. Let’s take a look.
Manchester City’s 2019/20 concept kits starts with their home one. It’s sky blue with white bordering running across the shoulders, around the neckline and across the bottom of each sleeve. It doesn’t push the envelope too much and but is a solid design.
The away jersey is black with two light grey stripes running vertically up the front. The Puma bordering on this kit is yellow, also running across the shoulders, around the simple neckline and around the bottom of each sleeve. This away kit acts as the perfect blank canvas for the club’s crest, Puma’s logo and the club’s main sponsor.
Finally, Manchester City’s 2019/20 concept kits finishes with a purple jersey. This colour fades from dark at the bottom, to light at the top. This range of colour gives the kit necessary depth and is finished with bright purple socks.
These kit designs are unlikely to materialise. We just think they’re excellent.
