Here are Arsenal’s Concept Kits. Full of Speculation, colour and simplicity.
On Tuesday we brought you Arsenal’s 2018/19 third kit. It was turquoise with a black trim across the sleeves and on the chest. We at UK Soccer Shop really liked the simplicity of the kit, as well as its colour contrast. Within the article we highlighted Arsenal’s excellent start, and also Manchester United’s mid-table position. Today we want to bring you Arsenal’s concept kits. These are full of bright colour, however, being a concept kit, it’s a little unlikely that they’ll actually materialise.
As most European teams have now released their 2018/19 kits, we want to bring you the very best of concepts. Yesterday was Wolverhampton Wanderers. Without further ado, here’s Arsenal’s concept kits.
The first of Arsenal’s concept kits is obviously red. It features white sleeves and a built up collar, also white. While the chest leaves plenty of space for the club’s crest, their main sponsor and Adidas’ logo, there is a subtle pattern running across it. Small circles appear across the kit in a slightly lighter shade. This pattern gives the kit depth and the necessary character to be something more than a basic kit.
The away kit is where the excellence comes in. It’s a yellow jersey with dark blue lines and triangles running across. It’s a very angular pattern and one that reflects the club’s heritage. A similar kit was worn by Arsenal in 1992. At the time of the original away kit, the club was sponsored by JVC and had a different club crest. Furthermore, that kit was designed by Reebok.
Finally, the third kit is black. Running diagonally across the front is a red line, between two white ones. We really like this design and hope to see it incorporated into one of the kits for next year. It’s unlikely, but we can hope.
