Earlier today, Bahia’s home kit was pushed across our desk. It was simple, stunning, and has been well-received by fans. We thought it suitable to now show you their away kit. It utilises the same colour-scheme and puts it into a pattern that we really like. First, however, we’ve got to understand who Bahia are, where they’re from, and how they’re performing this current season. Who better to tell you than this author?
“On the Northeastern coast of Brazil sits the state of Bahia. It surrounds the city of Salvador – the region’s capital. Bahia’s population is around 15.2 million and it would take around thirteen and a half hours to arrive, if travelling by aeroplane from the UK. To help them climb the table however many places they can before the season ends, Bahia have teamed up with Esquadrao to design the 2018/19 away kit. The jersey consists of thick blue and red stripes that run vertically and are broken up with think white lines between each stripe. Bahia’s neckline is a simple one, bordered with white material that can also be seen running around the bottom of each sleeve.
While aesthetics are important when designing a kit, Bahia’s away jersey also features their cutting-edge breathable technology. This technology allows players to perform at maximum capacity, while minimising the effects.
