Brisbane Roar Reveal Their 2018/19 Away Kit by Umbro
They Have One of The Coolest Names in Football. Here’s Brisbane Roar’s Latest Away Kit.
We always love to bring you exciting kits from around the world. Whether it’s European jerseys or those from further afield, it’s always exciting to see a design pushed across our desk. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter what level of football, we at UK Soccer Shop love taking a look! It just so happens that Brisbane Roar compete towards the top end of the football spectrum. They compete in the Australian Super League. Despite finishing in sixth place last season, John Aloisi will hope that his team can push much further up the table.
To help them in their 2018/19 campaign, Brisbane Roar has teamed up with Umbro to craft an excellent white away kit. When we first heard the colour we were apprehensive to say the least. New York Cosmos’ cluttered, empty-seeming kit with clashing coloured-elements put us off a little. But we’ve seen enough white kits not to be confident that Umbro will do an excellent job. After all, they crafted a home kit that was stunning.
The white kit’s only other colours are black and orange, however there is the exception of the league’s sponsors: Hyundi. Sat on Brisbane Roar’s chest is the club’s crest, the league’s logo, Umbro’s double diamond shape, and the club’s sponsor: ActronAir.
Running around the simple neckline is a black band of material which doesn’t meet at the front. This design decision gives the kit necessary character. Mirrored around the bottom of each sleeve is a section of black which is bordered by a slither of orange at the top. It’s a kit that is dominated by the club’s main sponsor, however Brisbane Roar’s away kit, like their home one has an excellent overall design that features some positive creative elements.
