Real Betis Reveal an Excellent Away Kit
We first showed you Real Betis’ home kit almost a month ago. They’re a club who compete in La Liga and are currently sat in ninth place. This isn’t too bad of a position to be in, however Quique Setien will hope to see his team push further up the table. One month ago we were enjoying glorious sunshine. The World Cup had finished but its excitement could still be felt. Let’s revisit those times.
The home kit consisted of white and green stripes. Real Betis’ crest sat proudly on the chest and there wasn’t too much design flourish to be seen. It was simple and we liked it. The away kit does a similar thing with perhaps a little more daring flourish.
Real Betis’ away top is dark green. Fading in from the left-hand side as you look at it are a number of lighter green triangles. These vary in size and shade of green but they create a wonderfully abstract pattern that isn’t often seen with football kits. The one negative to this pattern is that it does seem to crowd out the club’s crest and Kappa’s logo. However, it’s a small price to pay for a kit that has so far proven so popular with fans.
The back of Real Betis’ jersey is blank green. Furthermore, the only design feature that we see on the reverse is the name ‘Real Betis,’ in a gold font.
Each sleeve is the same colour as the kit’s body, however the bottoms are half-and-half. This adds character to the kit and is a small design feature that might otherwise be overlooked by an observer.
