Parma Calcio 1913 Reveal Their 2018/19 Third Kit by Errea
A week or so ago we had a third kits day. We showed you three in one day, and today feels like another of those days. Now that the season has kicked off and teams are fiercely competing, what better way to show the kit that will mostly remain an enigma over the next few months? First up on our trip down third kit lane is Parma Calcio 1913. Their home and away kits each symbolise parts of the club’s crest – one being black and white striped, the other yellow and blue. They’re fresh to Serie A, having been promoted last season and will hope to make a positive, effective splash. Both their home and away kits are eye-catching and have proven largely popular. But what about the third kit?
Addressing each point in turn, the third kit has proven very popular with fans. Its design is eye-catching and combines exactly what made the home and the away kits so successful.
Its colouring is charcoal, acting as the perfect blank canvas for the pattern on top. The pattern itself comes from the home kit in shape and the away one in colouring. A large, yellow and blue cross sits on the front of the jersey. It is coloured with yellow and blue. Across the top of the cross sits the club’s crest, Errea’s logo, and the club’s main sponsor.
This combination of the two kits is a fantastic choice, one that seems almost a no-brainer. However it seems so logical simply because both home and away kits have been so popular.
Finally, on the nape of the kit are the words “Parma Calcio” with the number 1913 above. “1913” Is displayed within the wings of a phoenix. Indicating life rising from destruction.
