Real Betis Reveal Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Kappa

Real Betis are a team competing at the highest heights of Spanish football. They play at the Benito Villamarin Stadium in Seville. Under the watchful eye of manager Quique Setien and in front of a capacity crowd of 60,000. The club finished their 2017/18 campaign in sixth. One point behind Villareal. This season the club will hope to finish in an even higher La Liga position and to do so, Real Betis have teamed up with Kappa to craft a gloriously green home kit. The jersey is simple but eye-catching – a perfect combination.

The kit top consists of white and green vertical stripes. These run around the entirety of the kit and with the current absence of a main sponsor, the kit seems to be completely uncluttered. On top of these stripes sits Real Betis’ club crest and Kappa’s logo. Each of the sleeves hold another appearance of the kit designer’s logo and the league’s emblem.

The simple neckline doesn’t feature a collar, however it is tapered with white and green, thin stripes. These, together with the white and green sleeve tapering, completes the kit nicely.

On the nape of their home jersey is the club’s name in simple green font. Beneath is a white area for the player’s name and number, then below this the stripes continue.

Each of the sides on this kit top have a white area to highlight the breathability and allow a refreshing breakup in the pattern.

Real Betis’ fans will be happy that they finished two points above Sevilla FC, their rivals, however the club will hope to push up the table and take a top-five finish this season. If not higher.

The first game for Real Betis is against Levante, a game that is predicted to go the Seville club’s way. We’ll wait and see but in the meantime, what do you think of their home kit?
