Tottenham Hotspur Reveal Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Nike

Tottenham Hotspur. So many players in the squad spent their summer competing on the international stage. Kane, Walker, and Ali will be gutted that they couldn’t bring football home. Hugo Lloris, however, will be perhaps staying quiet about the fact that he was able to lift the trophy with the French side. In their first game of the Premier League season, the Spurs won a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United. Most Tottenham Hotspur fans will hope that this is the season they can fill their trophy cabinet. They’ve been the victim of jokes for far too long. Could this be their season?

To help push them up the table, the club have teamed up with Nike to craft their latest home kit. A club whose kit is being designed by Nike can rest easy knowing that it’s likely to be stylish, simple, and featuring cutting-edge technology. With Tottenham’s latest home kit, you’d be correct.

Obviously the colour is white and blue. If we were to tell you otherwise, that would be more significant. The design has however changed from their previous kit.

The 2017/18 home kit was white everywhere except blue around the collar and under the arms. On their 2018/19 home kit, deep blue fades out from the bottom. The blue gradually turns into the white that fills the top half of the kit. This is emphasised by the physical lines that run horizontally across the kit. These lines seem to give the jersey more character and allow the pattern to shine through. If a pattern can shine through.

Furthermore, the kit is finished with blue shorts. These allow the colour fade to make sense and complete the kit nicely.

Will you be watching Tottenham next season hoping for them to succeed? Otherwise, will you be hoping that their trophy cabinet remains empty?

Either way, this kit will be remembered positively, with a title win, or negatively. Another season without silverware.
