A month or so ago we showed you Nottingham Forest’s home kit, now let’s take a look at the away one.
Nottingham. When we were children, all we knew about the city was that it featured in the Robin Hood stories. It was ruled by an evil Sheriff who squeezed the populace until our green-clad hero came to the rescue. He stole from the rich to give to the poor. While Nottingham Forest F.C. doesn’t draw too many parallels from the fable of Robin Hood, fans are still trying to see manager Aitor Karanker as the people’s hero. This is despite winning only five of twenty-one games in charge. That’s a 24% win-rate which is only 4% higher than Mark Warburton.
Still…
It’s a new season with plenty of potential. In their first match, the Tricky Trees took home a point against Bristol City. Plenty to build on and almost the whole season still to come.
To boost the fans’ morale and hopefully give the club a leg-up the Championship, Nottingham Forest have teamed up with Macron. The two have decided upon a simple, uncluttered kit. It’s a decision that has, in our eyes, paid off.
The away kit is white. The 2017/18’s was navy blue so it is refreshing to see the club switching it up a little. On the front of the kit top is the club’s crest, Macron’s logo and Nottingham Forest’s main sponsor. The light blue colouring of the sponsor isn’t seen again, however due to the bright white nature of the kit, it still fits in perfectly.
On the nape of the kit top is the club’s emblem and the words, “that loving feeling,” which visitors to City Ground will be deafened by.
The kit is finished with red shorts and white socks. We at UK Soccer Shop really like this away kit. It’s a simple, no-messing jersey and we can’t wait to see Nottingham Forest in action in their 2018/19 campaign.
