Oxford United Reveal Their 2018/19 Away Kit by Puma

Sometimes a kit will be released that seems to have no floors. Its colours will compliment each other without clashes and the overall design will be simple but effective. Today, we show you one such kit – Oxford United’s away kit.

Back in the middle of June, when England fans were still had ambitions of wining the 2018 world cup, we at UK Soccer Shop showed you Oxford United’s home kit. The club was formed in 1893 and in the last piece about them, we let you know that the first open heart surgery without anaesthesia was performed in that year. Furthermore, to reflect the club’s lengthy past, they teamed up with Puma to create an exceptional, classic home kit. Both it and the away kit are stunning.

Oxford United finished their 2017/18 campaign in 16th place, so Karl Robinson will be hoping for a higher finish this season. Having just lost their first game of the 2018/19 season, fans will have everything crossed that they can start climbing that League One table.

The away kit is navy in colouring. This is contrasted with the bright yellow running across the sleeves and around the sharp, semi-classic collar.

Dominating the chest of the jersey is the club’s main sponsor – Singha beer. The company’s dragon features just underneath the leaping Puma on the right hand-side of the kit top and the club’s crest on the left.

Puma have certainly done a good job of ensuring the kit remains uncluttered.

The gorgeous navy blue kit is finished off with blue shorts and socks. Both the shorts and socks feature the bright yellow stripes which gives the jersey its balanced character.

We at UK Soccer Shop can’t wait to see the away kit this upcoming season and hope that the Yellows can steadily climb the league table and push for promotion.
