Hartlepool United Reveal Their 2018/19 Home and Away Kits by BLK
BLK are a kit design company that specialise in cricket gear. Whether its caps to keep the sun out off of players’ faces or full cricket whites. Not only do they specialise in this sporting area, they also provide E-Sports’ team wear. Furthermore, BLK design expert kits for clubs like Dover Athletic, St. Johnstone, and now: Hartlepool United. While most fans will know of the lower-league club, many will be aware of them through Jeff Stelling. The football pundit is arguably the club’s number one fan. Avid watchers of Sky’s Soccer Saturday Show will have seen him breaking a microphone in 2014. The damage came after Hartlepool scored against Oxford United in 2014.
After finishing in 15th place at the end of last season, Hartlepool will be playing in the National League once again. Manager Matthew Bates will hope that his side can push for promotion in their 2018/19 campaign. He’ll know Jeff Stelling is watching.
To help them with this promotion push, the club have released their 2018/19 home and away kits. Furthermore, would you believe that we love them?
The home kit is a simple design of blue and white, vertical stripes. There’s a large white section on the front where the club’s sponsor sits and you might spot the words “never say die,” on the back of the jersey. Furthermore, the sleeves are tapered with gold.
Hartlepool’s away kit is what caught our eye. It seems to be inspired by Marvel action hero: Iron Man. The regal red of the jersey is criss-crossed with glorious gold. This gold checker board pattern leaves plenty of space for the club’s crest, BLK’s logo and the club’s main sponsor.
We at UK Soccer Shop would love to see Hartlepool back in League 2 and we hope that it isn’t too long before we see them back once again.
