A couple of weeks ago we showed you their 2018/19 home kit. It oozed colour and style. Now, we take a look at Bradford City’s latest away and third kits.
When you visit the city, there are an umber of suggested places to visit. These include the National Media Museum, Oakwell Hall and Lister Park. During your time in Bradford, you might also want to indulge in some of the Yorkshire city’s football. The club plays at the Northern City’s Commercial stadium and are headed up by manager Michael Collins. Bradford City FC finished their 2017/18 season in 11th place, just above Blackpool but behind Southend and Peterborough United. In their 2018/19 campaign the fans will hope to see their club seriously compete, and maybe even promoted.
While nobody can predict the success of next season, by teaming up with Avec, Bradford have created kits for their travels. As eager fans cram into stands up and down the UK, the dedicated among them will become very familiar with the two strips.
The away kit is sky blue. On the chest sits the club’s crest, the designer’s logo and the main sponsor: JCT600. Across the shoulders and down to the bottom of the sleeves is a darker shade of the blue. This darker shade is cut off by the elasticated tapering and give depth to quite a simple kit idea.
The dark colouring drifts across the back of the kit. On the back of the jersey is the club’s secondary sponsor: Mitton Group. The kit is finished with white shorts and blue socks.
The third kit is designed in a very similar way. Instead of sky blue, the jersey is black. Across the shoulders is a grey “colouring” and on the bottom of the sleeves is black, elasticated tapering. There is a genuine flash of colour down the sides of the body – two luminous orange stripes drift from the under arms down to the bottom of the jersey.
We at UK Soccer Shop can’t wait to see these kits on Bradford City’s travels. The club will be hoping to compete and with these kits, they’ll surely have the confidence to do so.
