Feyenoord Have Released Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Adidas
The Netherlands are famous for so many things. We won’t go into them here but on the whole, they’re a happy country. While the Dutch might not have qualified for this year’s World Cup in Russia, they still have plenty of things to be positive about. Afterall, they, like many unqualified teams can watch with genuine excitement as Germany crash out wonder who will be next. Although the country have to share in Italy, Scotland, and Wales’ sadness in not qualifying, they can take solace in their excellent club football. In such a competitive league, there are several teams that often top the Eredivisie. One of those teams is Feyenoord who finished fourth in the league table.
Feyenoord have just released their latest home kit and it is stunning. Incredibly simple and made special by a few design decisions. We know you’ll love this latest jersey.
In collaboration with the titans at Adidas, Feyenoord have opted for a new kit top that is red and white.
Instead of stripes, the red and white is split straight down the middle. Half is red. Half is white.
The sleeves also take one colour each. While this is in our opinion, an excellent design decision, some fans might not respond to positively to the simplicity.
Just above the bottom of the sleeves, they are tapered with black. This black also features in the modern neckline and in Adidas’ trademark stripes running from the top of the sleeves up to the collar.
Its simplicity is its biggest asset. The small design flourishes make it excellent and Van Persie (if he sticks around), will certainly look great running out in the club’s latest home kit.
Feyenoord see Ajax as their biggest rivals. Next season they’ll be hoping to catch them and potentially top the table. It would be great to see this well-designed kit at the top of the Eredivisie table.
