New Football Kits

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2018/19 Home and Away Kits by Adidas

Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Wolves. What have we got to say about them? Well, for one thing, they’re back in the Premier League. That’s right. It has taken them six years to get back to the highest league of English football but they’ve done it. The two seasons between 2011 and 2013 were the toughest. They were relegated from the Premiership, then again from the Championship. Still, they persisted and unlike Ipswich Town, haven’t stayed in the Championship for too long. As the World Cup washes over fans, they’ll surely be taking a deep sigh of relief. Knowing that they’ll have to play some big teams next season. But they’ll also be taking solace that while Argentina might have been a good sweepstake-draw to have on paper, the results so far have been pretty shocking. So even the biggest teams can have their off-days.

To launch them back into the top division, Wolves have released a home and away kit. Both simple, both incredibly stylish. We at UK Soccer Shop love them, but what do you think?

The home kit is yellow. You could have guessed that without even looking at this page. The sleeves have black tapering at the bottom and across the shoulders are Adidas’ trademark three stripes.

The kit has ditched any romantic notions of classic design. They are making it one that lives in the successful moment. There is no buttoned collar or built-up neckline. It is simple, sleek, and effective.

The away kit is white with black. Already a winning combination, the white also features a grey pattern seen on Aberdeen’s away kit. The only colour on Wolverhampton’s away kit is on the club’s crest, that sits proudly on the chest.

Wolves have two excellent kits to begin their 2018 Premier League campaign. We hope that it won’t end in heartbreak, instead, we hope they seriously compete. We are confident they will.
